Why signing up to Pride 365 is important to Nissan GB?

Our partnership with Pride 365 is important to helping us improve inclusivity in our workplace and our communities, particularly for our LGBTQ+ employees, by fostering a culture of respect and appreciation amongst colleagues from all backgrounds.

Nissan’s goal is to enrich people’s lives by pursuing zero emissions, zero fatalities, and zero inequality, both in our company and also our communities. Through credible activities that contribute to these goals, we will realize a cleaner, safer, more inclusive society. We will also improve the relationship we have with our customers through better representation and appreciation of their rich and diverse backgrounds.
Nissan (GB) pledge to play our part in improving inclusivity in the workplace and society and be instrumental in bringing about an end to the corporate appropriation of the LGBT+ community to help create a world of inclusion for all.
We have made the following commitments:
We will be public and open in support of LGBT+ inclusion 365 days a year by promoting our partnership with Pride 365. We will apply the Pride 365 designation across company websites, social media, corporate communications and public relations activity.
We will carry out the following inclusion activity during 2021 and 2022:
- Undertake an audit of our advertising, marketing, and scripts for television.
- Create an LGBTQ+ ally network
We pledge that these commitments will be carried out by May 31st 2022.
