Vincent Autin

For 20 years, Vincent has been a business leader, a committed political advisor, and LGBTQI+ tourism development specialist.

Following many years of marriage equality activism, Vincent AUTIN became the first gay person to be married in France (May 29, 2013 in Montpellier) resulting in his ceremony becoming the symbol of the laws he fought so hard to obtain.

A very committed personality for many years in favor of LGBTQI + and human rights, in France and internationally. Vincent has held many positions including President of Fierte Montpellier for 12 years and the creator of the first Pride in the world to take place in the French Alps – Fierté Tignes – where he remains the President.

Vincent was responsible for another historic first when InterPride and EPOA held a joint AGM & World Conference in Montpellier (2016). In 2018, he became a columnist for national french télévision (France 2) and presented an LGBTQI Friendly column. In December 2019, he was the main character in the LGBTQI + documentary “Liberty, Equality, Pride” broadcast on France 3.
